In 2017, we created our very first design patent drawing for 𝘎𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 - 𝘜𝘚𝘋866666. It was a tough start—this application faced  𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 from the USPTO due to issues like incorrect shading style, inconsistent techniques, and dark broken lines.

This design patent was more than just a project—it was a milestone in my journey of understanding 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬 and navigating 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 in design patent drawings.

When the USPTO issued an Office Action, I realised how crucial it is to 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐲, without introducing any new content. That experience taught me the importance of consistency, detail, and discipline in this field.

But every challenge is a chance to grow. By 2019, the patent was successfully granted, and that early struggle became a 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 in mastering USPTO shading standards and understanding Office Actions in depth.
